Social networks, Internet of things and digital competences of professors and researchers in Medicine

ABSTRACT

Objective: to characterize social networks, the Internet of things and the linking of both with the digital competences of professors, researchers and institutions of Medicine.
Methods: documentary analysis to investigate the problem in other countries and analyze the recommendations or solutions that have been proposed.
Results: it was studied as the lack of skills in the use of ICT and personal digital incompetence of teachers in various universities in several countries is an obstacle to their ability to manage knowledge and socialize it institutionally.
Conclusions: a workflow was created so that the members of the institutional social networks capture knowledge and socialize it, incorporate it into the institutional repository of knowledge and in this way contribute to the research and innovation of their organization.
