ABSTRACT

The craniofacial disorders caused by trauma is one of the major problems that require a high degree of accuracy. In recent years there has been a trend in the use of osteoinductive bone reconstruction material. 3D printing based calcium phosphate powder is a versatile method with unique flexibility in the material and geometry. A case is presented in male patient 24 years of age with a diagnosis of wound by gun fire in front and right periorbital region, preoperative protocol is performed and printing implant is designed with calcium phosphate and hydroxyapatite.
