ABSTRACT

Objective: To investigate the sexual satisfaction of patients with diabetes. A descriptive study was conducted to know the beliefs and attitudes of the group and thus describe the sexual satisfaction of these patients.
Methods: Qualitative research. Interviews were applied to each of patients over 6 sessions and group dynamics was observed for one month.
Results: It was possible to identify that the majority of the respondents state that they have sexual relations and sometimes experience positive feelings towards their partner and feel important.
Conclusions: Sexuality is a contradictory and very relevant aspect for diabetic patients that requires information.
