ABSTRACT
Fractures of the palate are accompanied by other facial fractures. Different techniques have been mentioned for its treatment; however, there is no consensus for the optimal management of this type of fracture. In the present article a literature review of the palate fractures, their classifications, and treatment options are made and we describe the case of a male patient of 43 years of age, evaluated in the «Dr. Darío Fernández» General Hospital with palatal fracture.
