ABSTRACT

Ataxia or incoordination of movements is a disorder presents several neurological affections that provoked hamessed interference of the motor coordination of superior limbs, movements but in an insecure, disordered and inadequate way, affecting with more frequency the activities that you/they go directed to an end. With the purpose of evaluating the influence of the system of activities to correct the graphomotor alterations as well as the improvement of the writing ability through training. This investigation was applied 15 patients with a seven-year evolution time. The Oligraf scale was applied to the beginning and end of the restorative program to check the increase in an upward way in the different graphic alterations. Alterations were firend in writing in all the investigated cases, where the macrography, hypermetry and agglutinative upward writing prevailed; after the treatment were evaluated by the same scale. The obtained results were significant. The created system of activities influenced in a positive way in the correction of graphomotor alterations in almost all the entire sample. The patients improved significantly after the application of Wilcoxon Matched Pairs statistical test as well as in the analysis of the results obtained in descriptive statistic.
