Análisis de sentimientos expresados en rostros humanos de graffitis con el sistema MATEA-Gestalt, reporte preliminar

ABSTRACT

Introduction: The graffiti with human faces show feelings of the youngs. Material and methods: An observational, comparative study under the MATEA system that measures feelings in expressions of human faces was analyzed in Oaxaca city , Mexico, urban and suburban graffiti. Only those showing human faces of different ages and genders were included. Those who were even caricatured faces were excluded, these were classified according to the basic feelings: fear, affection, sadness, anger and joy. Results: In a population of 50 human faces, using the gestaltic approach and M.A.T.E.A. The predominant feeling is anger (26%), followed by fear (24%) and joy (24%) with the same percentage and finally sadness (18%). Conclusion: Graffiti is a form of projection that people over all adolescents use to unconsciously express a state of mind, feelings and emotions, in this population predominated anger, we should understand these nonverbal language in young people which perform the graffiti in anonymity.
