ABSTRACT

We present a review article including physiopathology and clinical findings of the aortic valve disease. Also we analyze the state of art for diagnostic procedures which now are less invasive and better tools, and the different techniques for the treatment and their results for different age populations, including interventional procedures and surgery for the aortic valve with the different kinds of valvular prosthesis now available.
