ABSTRACT

Introduction: this work is based on the study realized about organization of the abilities development in academic plans and subject programs from the analysis of theoretical referents of abilities term, addressed to review its behavior in the pre academic course for the students of Medical Sciences.
Objective: to base the development of abilities, as elements of the content from the objective as rector element.
Materials and Methods: theoretical and empiric methods were used to among them the bibliography review of texts and documents about abilities term in rector documents, academicals plans that allowed to base with concretion of its concretion in the practice of pre academic course for the students of medical sciences.
Results: in the redesigning of pre academic course general objective was concretized in function of the ability, the analysis of the subject abilities, f undamentally in Learn to Learn and the review of academic plans.
Conclusions: the abilities constitute a complex process that should be reviewed in function of the ob-jectives to reach, for its achievement is necessary of systematization and training. The abilities for their character of system should be organized.
