ABSTRACT

It is described the origin and evolution of the psychology, regarding the information process and the development of the cognitive psychology. The application of this knowledge in the medical education and in the clinical reasoning is mentioned. An approach for the measurement of this psychological structure, which that promote the medical reasoning, is made.
