ABSTRACT

At this symposium, we’ll have the privilege of lectures by four internationally known experts that will discuss some atrial fibrillation aspects. Dr. José Jalife will treat atrial fibrillation mechanism, and the one studied by himself: the vortex. Dr. Antonio Bayés de Luna will focus on clinical manifestation and its complications. Dr. Alejandro Cordero will tackle and old controversy: when to cardioconvert and when to modulate atrial response?, whereas Dr. Manlio Márquez will let us know all recent advances in the treatment.
