RESUMEN

Este capítulo detalla la relevancia clínica de los diferentes alergenos derivados del látex. El perfil de sensibilización molecular corrobora la sospecha diagnóstico y permite reconocer la necesidad de indicaciones terapéuticas para este tipo de reacciones alérgicas que pueden ser muy graves o clínicamente irrelevantes como en el caso de la sensibilización por reactividad cruzada.
