Cinco pasos para un pase de visita clínico académico efectivo en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos

RESUMEN
Este estudio diseñó e implementó un modelo estructurado de pase de visita académico (PVA) en cinco etapas y 21 minutos, basado en la Zona de Desarrollo Próximo de Vygotsky, para optimizar la educación médica en las unidades de cuidados intensivos (UCI) mexicanas con alta carga laboral. La intervención estandarizó la presentación del paciente, exploración, diálogo reflexivo y cierre con la familia. Los resultados mostraron que el modelo mejoró la eficiencia, fomentó el aprendizaje activo y el pensamiento crítico, e integró la comunicación familiar. Se concluye que adapta la teoría a entornos limitados, ofreciendo un marco replicable para equilibrar docencia y atención clínica.
