INTRODUCCIÓN

La anestesia total intravenosa (TIVA) se ha consolidado como una técnica valiosa en el ámbito de la anestesiología pediátrica. Sin embargo, en niños con obesidad, la administración de TIVA presenta desafíos adicionales por las alteraciones en la fisiología y la farmacocinética que acompañan al exceso de peso.
