FRAGMENTO
Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae es el agente etiológico de la pleuroneumonía contagiosa porcina, enfermedad de serias consecuencias para las granjas afectadas por la elevada mortalidad de animales en crecimiento.
Hasta la fecha se han descrito 12 serotipos y 2 biotipos, los primeros con base en antígenos capsulares y los segundos de acuerdo con su dependencia del factor V para su crecimiento
in vitro.
