RESUMEN

El tumor odontogénico queratinizante es un quiste derivado de los remanentes de la lámina dental. Se encuentra dentro de los más reconocidos por su potencial agresivo y destructivo, erosionando las placas corticales y tejidos blandos, con un mayor porcentaje de recidiva dentro de los tumores odontogénicos. Se presenta caso clínico de tumor odontogénico queratinizante en la rama de la mandíbula del lado derecho; previamente toma de biopsia incisional, se realiza enucleación quirúrgica con colocación de solución de Carnoy. Se realiza estudio histopatológico, el cual confirma el diagnóstico. Se llevaron a cabo un control clínico y uno radiográfico posteriores a su tratamiento quirúrgico.
