Evento vascular isquémico secundario a endocarditis infecciosa

RESUMEN
La endocarditis infecciosa es la inflamación del endocardio con daño de
las válvulas cardiacas de origen infeccioso, principalmente bacteriano;
es una enfermedad grave con mortalidad entre 18 y 30%. Se comunica
el caso clínico de un paciente que ingresó con datos de evento cerebral
vascular de tipo isquémico y posteriormente se realizó el diagnóstico
de embolia séptica secundaria a endocarditis infecciosa.
