Hemangioendotelioma epitelioide limítrofe. Presentación de un caso y revisión de la literatura

RESUMEN
Los tumores vasculares de malignidad limítrofe son raros y más en partes superficiales. Se
originan en vasos medianos o grandes y son de localización profunda. Presentamos el caso de
un hombre de 20 años con lesión dérmica ulcerada en la espalda, paravertebral, sobre el 6o y 7o
arco costal izquierdo. Este tumor forma un tipo distintivo de células endoteliales que tienen un
aspecto parecido a histiocitos o a células epiteliales. De citoplasma abundante eosinófilo, vacuolas
o luces vasculares. El núcleo es redondo, vesicular y ocasionalmente dentado. Puede
haber mitosis, pleomorfismo celular y necrosis. Se realizó resección amplia del tumor. Se
discute su histología y su tratamiento quirúrgico.
