ABSTRACT

Pacification and reconciliation are different notions and processes. Even if it is true that reconciliation requires pacification, the contrary is not the case. A deeper cognitive and emotional evolution may develop a certain understanding, even perhaps a mutual respect towards the possibility of a facilitated reconciliation, sometimes, for the dream of a return to the prior harmony. This is why stories are very important. I intend to work around a notion closely related to philosophy: the notion of wisdom. Wisdom and peace are concepts not far from one another. I will examine what wisdom might mean today, in a world so far from that from which it was born.
