ABSTRACT
The rotoablation is a technique for plaque removal
in heavily calcified coronary artery lesions in order to
improve the stent implantations. However, it is not a
complication-free one. We present herein the case of a
76-year-old male patient with trivasvular coronary artery
disease. He underwent rotablation procedure on the
anterior descending coronary artery, with device-olive
entrapment and coronary ischemia data. Urgent coronary
revascularization was performed, requiring a 3 cm
long endarterectomy for olive releasement. The patient's
course was uneventful.
