ABSTRACT

Facial trauma is a frequent cause of consultation in emergency services. Injuries are associated with facial skeletal fractures and systemic injuries that delay primary care; However, to avoid sequelae, they should be treated as soon as possible and when the patient's conditions allow it. The case of a patient is presented, a child of seven years and nine months of age at the "Sor Teresa Huarte Tama" Children's Hospital, in the city of Sucre. The same one who underwent surgery by a multidisciplinary team. Successful diagnosis and treatment depend on knowledge of facial anatomy, basic healing principles, and proper management of injuries to the anatomical structures involved.
