Perception of stress in nursing students at a Chilean public university

ABSTRACT
Introduction: nursing students, in their practices, face various stressful situations. Understanding the factors that trigger this will facilitate interventions for students. Material and methods: quantitative, descriptive, observational, cross-sectional study. The KEZKAK instrument was applied to 97 students. We analyzed the data obtaining the mean and SD according to each factor; if the mean was equal to or greater than 1.5, it was considered stress. Results: the students' perception of stress had a mean of 1.78; the most predominant factor was "the patient seeks an intimate relationship", with a mean of 2.04. Conclusion: students show stress levels similar to results shown in similar studies.REFERENCES
