ABSTRACT
Isolated traumatic anterior glenohumeral dislocation in children younger than 10 years is rare, with an incidence of only 1.6%. Close differential diagnoses include the relatively common atraumatic shoulder dislocation and pseudo-dislocations resulting from traumatic separation of the proximal humeral epiphysis. A case of traumatic anterior glenohumeral dislocation in an infant aged 18 months is presented as a rare observation.
