traumatic anterior glenohumeral dislocation in children, differential diagnoses, radiological findings, shoulder trauma in infants and children.

ABSTRACT

Isolated traumatic anterior glenohumeral dislocation in children younger than 10 years is rare, with an incidence of only 1.6%. Close differential diagnoses include the relatively common atraumatic shoulder dislocation and pseudo-dislocations resulting from traumatic separation of the proximal humeral epiphysis. A case of traumatic anterior glenohumeral dislocation in an infant aged 18 months is presented as a rare observation.
