ABSTRACT
Geography is the science that deals with the spatial distribution of geographical processes, objects, and physical and socioeconomic phenomena. In the central region of the country, there is no school that trains geography researchers; it has been teacher training that has contributed to its study in one way or another. The professional model calls for the training of teachers with a broad profile who can venture into different branches related to geography. Therefore, it is necessary to determine whether teachers in training have mastered the content related to health geography or medical geography, as it is also known. The purpose of this paper is to share the experiences of the assessment aimed at identifying the potential and shortcomings that exist in relation to this area in the training of Bachelor of Education students specializing in geography.REFERENCES
