Repair of anterofrontal floor using mesh of titanium

ABSTRACT

Male of 36 years old, arrive at 2:35 hours, to General Hospital «XOCO», he suffer automotive vehicle crashing type frontal. The vital signs at arrive found TA 100/60, FC 100x’, FR 38x’, Scale Coma Glasgow 8. The management in emergency consisted in support ventilatory mechanic and vigilance hemodynamic, the patient is valuated for general surgery, neurosurgery, reconstructive plastic surgery (RPS), and orthopedics, with diagnosis of brain trauma severe, sniked fracture frontal left, subarachnoid hemorrhage, blunt trauma abdominal simple, fracture Lefort II, III, IV, breack out of ocular globe, middle fracture diaphysiary of left forearm, tibia fracture and left perone. In operating room is management with esquirlectomy and repair of duramadre, enucleation of right eye. After 17 days RPS confirm fracture Lefort IV, with esterolitography and imagenology, their repair the anterofrontal floor using mesh of titanium and craneoplast. The prognosis was well for life and function.
