ABSTRACT

Hair disorders are increasingly better diagnosed and treated within the various specialized healthcare services.
In recent years, it has been identified the importance of the follicular microbiome in the development of these conditions. In addition to having unique properties, it also provides an immune protection system that must be kept in balance, as dysbiosis in this system is linked to frequent relapses and damage that extends even to the loss of follicular immune privilege.
