Migraine in the childhood: Report of 30 children in a general hospital

ABSTRACT
Objective. To know the electroencephalography importance and the tomography importance, in children with migraine.
Material and methods. 30 migraine patients of 3 to 16 years age were studied. On beside the medical and neurological examination of patients at admission in all of them tomography and encephalography were done.
Results. In only one child the electroencephalography shown abnormalities and all the tomography studies were normal.
Conclusions. The findings reported are similar to the another authors, it seems important reiterate that the clinical information obtained form the children and parents and a good clinical exam is enough for the diagnosis of migraine in children.
