ABSTRACT

Cybernetic technology in the modern world impacts in all ambits. There’s no doubt, it occurs the same in medicine and in all it’s different specialties. The web, participates practically as an endless information provider. In this article, we present the results obtained in a survey applied to 1127 patients, to know what’s the existing interest in our society in the goal to obtain information and as a fact references for the realization of surgical procedures in particular of the endoscopic type (mini-invasive). Our conclusions stand-out the need of the medical and surgical trade as well as for clinics and hospitals to utilize all the diffusion media and propagandistic methods, including of course the internet, to achieve a stronger impact in the society.
