Key words:

Radiological report, test of concordance.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To know the concordance level among preliminary and definitive reports of the CT.
Material and methods: Through a concordance test, the preliminary and definitive results of 71 patients were compared.
Results: A good concordance level was demonstrated between both types of reports, by means of a random measure of concordance of 92% with a Kappa of Cohen of 85%.
Conclusion: The preliminary radiological report is a useful tool for the General Practitioner in the patient’s medical care; the correct elaboration will help them to decide about the seriousness of a clinical situation and also to act in consequence.
