Profile of Nursery Mastery graduate and its link to principles of Advanced Education

ABSTRACT

Introduction: Postgraduate education is one of the main directions of the superior education in Cuba and the highest level of superior education system. The Nursing Mastery is one of the modalities of academic training offered to nursing professionals. From its first edition its objective has been to update and propitiate the development in teachers of processes contributing to identification and solution of health, managerial and educational health problems in the area of its competence.
Objectives: To describe the relation existing among the functions declared in the form or profile of mastery graduate and the principles of Advanced Educational.
Methods: A documentary review of program of Nursing Mastery and of different texts and articles approaching the theoretical referents of Advanced Education.
Results: It was demonstrated the link among the ideal form functions of graduate of Nursing Mastery and the principles of Advanced Education and also authors proposed the qualities that must to have the graduate of Nursing Mastery and that was not took into account in the ideal form analyzed in present research.
Conclusions: It is obvious the link among the ideal form functions of graduate of Nursing Mastery and the principles of advanced education.
