ABSTRACT

The Sternberg’s Triangular Love Scale divides the love in three components: intimacy, passion and commitment. The aim of the present study was to analyze the evolution of three components of the love with the course of the time in a sample of Chilean students. The results showed similarity in three components between kinds. The comparison of the information on the basis of the temporary applied cuts shows significant differences in every component. Of equal way, the relation between the time and the intimacy, the passion and the commitment, they show significant differences. Later investigations are suggested by major samples and longitudinal studies of type.
