ABSTRACT

A qualitative-quantitative research work was carried out to describe the principal difficulties found in the principal researching projects done by residents of different medical specialties in “Sagua La Grande, municipality, Villa Clara, in the academic year 2010-2011.The universe was composed by residents of Integral General Medicine (22) and other specialties (8). There was no sample. To gather the information it was elaborated a data-gathering model where aspects of the researching project were listed. Different researching methods were used, for instance the review of documents, in this case the researching projects and the observation. The greatest difficulties were found in the redaction and formulation of the scientific problem, the objectives, the hypothesis; the methodological design, the budget and the bibliographical references.
