ABSTRACT

Female patient age 41 years with bifrontal headache with intensity of 9/10 of four months’ evolution, which increases on awakening and improves in supine position. The patient also presents diaphoresis and syncope. A single phase computed tomography found a rounded, hyperdense, well delimited form occupying the roof of the third ventricle. In the enhanced magnetic resonance, in sequence T1, a hyperintense form was identified occupying the foramen of Monro which, in the enhanced sequence in T2, appeared hypointense. Exeresis was performed by endoscopy and neuronavigation. A colloid cyst was reported.
