ABSTRACT

Solitary plasmacytomas represent ‹ 1% of head and neck tumors. This plasmocytomas affects males in a 4:1 ratio between 50 and 60 years of age. This case was realted of a 75 years old female, hypertensive, controlled, which begins its condition a year prior to diagnosis with the presence of a tumor in the right parietal region, spontaneously occurring, slow growth and lack of accompanying symptoms. Plain radiographs showed a lytic lesion in the referenced site, an ultrasound identified a heterogeneous echogenic lesion which presented a mixed flow and the TC showed extra-axial image, hyperdense, which was reinforced with dye. The plasmacytomas are lesions that lack their own imaging features. The final diagnosis is pathological.
