ABSTRACT

It is analyzed an important nucleus of ideas of the work titled The unity of psychology. The paradigm of the experimental synthesis of behavior, proposed by Ruben Ardila (2010) to unify the psychology. His proposal is based on the behaviorism of B. F. Skinner, although it overcomes several of its premises. He reinstates the internal psychological processes, sticks to the hypothetical-deductive paradigm, and privileges the experimental method, but he considers that the research methodology should be adapted to the problem. He defines the psychology as the scientific study of the behavior, that is to say, what the organisms make or say. We prefer to say that the psychology studies the internal psychological processes and its manifestations through the behavior. Rubén Ardila had been able to elaborate an outstanding paradigm with the advances of the current psychology, overcoming the differences among psychological currents.
