ABSTRACT

Hydrosalpinx is one of the most common causes associated with infertility and therefore has been extensively studied, but it is not clear how it affects embryo implantation. Several theories have been explained towards its physiopathology but they are not conclusive. Hysterosalpingography is the most valuable tool in the diagnostic because it better allows the visualization and evaluation of the fallopian tubes, it has fewer complications and lower costs.
