ABSTRACT

This paper describes the range of educational and behavioral training activities carried out at the playroom of the Specialty Program in Pediatric Dentistry of the University of San Luis Potosí’s Faculty of Dentistry (SALPEP) to prepare children and their parents alike before the child’s dental appointment at the Postgraduate Pediatric Dental Clinic. Furthermore, it presents the results achieved over the first twelve months since its inception, as well as the accomplishments and lessons learned, all of which have helped to significantly improve the quality of all aspects of the dental care provided.
