ABSTRACT

To keep up to date is really hard in our professional activity, being a priority the continuing medical education through the analysis of the incoming end evolving knowledge. During our medical formation, and without previous training, we have been involved in bibliographic lectures under local protocols. The purpose is to focus on critical reading and optimal lecture presentation of original articles in either autodidactic or interactive group session in any academic center. A format including the article selection, the creation of the outline, summary presentation, preparation of the audience, the ongoing discussion, data analysis, the initial evaluation of the validity of the results and final conclusions is presented.
