Independent of learning style with the attention, memory and ejecutive fuction of the students of pedagogy in physical education of the usek of Chile

ABSTRACTThe studies on the relation of the learning style and the academic performance have showed contradictory results. On the other hand, the learning styles are independent from the sex, intelligence or personality. In the present research the test CHAEA of Honey-Alonso was applied to 151 student of Pedagogy in Physical Education of the University SEK of Chile and there was studied the relation of the learning styles whit the selective attention, the visual memory and the academic performance of the first half of 2014. The results show that there is no correlation between the academic performance and the reflexive and pragmatic style and a low correlation with the active and theoretical style. Also is observed that there is no relation between the attention and the reflexive, theoretical and pragmatic style and a low relation with the active style. Finally there is no relation between the learning styles and the visual memory. It is necessary in new research in student of Pedagogy in Physical Education of other universities and other university degree.
