ABSTRACT

During the second half of the 20th century, hospital management became a leading field of specialization in Mexico with vast national and international projection. This paper analyzes the professional career of Dr. Lauro Vivaldo Fernandez, one of the specialists that paved the way for the development of such an important discipline in the country.
