Teaching of behaviorism in the National School of Professional Studies Iztacala in its beginnings: a review

ABSTRACT
At the beginning of the teaching activities in the Psychology
career, the National School of Professional Studies Iztacala, of
the UNAM, had a completely behaviorist curriculum. This
psychological current enjoyed prestige and popularity. In the
first semesters of the race and the subsequent semesters in the
applied part, books and reading materials were revised with this
orientation. The aim of this work is to make a brief review of the
main reading materials used and which are emblematic of
behaviorism. A set of reflections on the pragmatic theory of
behaviorism is presented.
