ABSTRACT

Placement of implants in the aesthetic zone can become very demanding sinceitisnotonly expected to exist osseointegration but to have a stable peri-implant softtissue.Vestibular defects are common when these two ideal features are not obtained, recessions of the soft tissue exposing the implant platform, loss of the vestibular table that translates the implant on the soft tissue, these aesthetic problems could bring even bigger problems Such as mucosistis or periimplantitis due to the exposure of implant strings. In order to solve these aesthetic peri-implant defects several techniques have been described, many of the musing autologous grafts with modifications in the obtaining and placement of them. This report assesses soft tissue augmentation of an implant that has suffered from loss of height and soft tissue volume causing the implant platform to be exposed, where a mucogingival surgical procedure is performed to correct this defect and benefiting the adjacent teeth Since they were with Miller Class I gingival recessions, the technique chosen was a tunnel with free gingival de-epithelialization.Resulting in defect coverage and an in crease in soft tissue volumen.
