ABSTRACT

Everyone recommend Physical Activity, but we should really think that we don´t know so much about the muscle and why we have to be active. Considering that currently sedentary lifestyle is increasing the risk of mortality globally just below hypertension, smoking and high blood glucose according to the reports of the World Health Organization, so it is put forward to study in depth this matter. However, the prevalence of overweight and obesity continues to increase in our population, although it has shown a certain deceleration mainly in the north of the country, coinciding with what appears to be physical inactivity at the end of last year. So being able to define and understand the basic concepts of this topic, as well as understand the benefits and familiarize ourselves with the prescription becomes a necessity, starting from this to feel motivated to start practicing with the example at a professional level.
