Study of electromagnetic fields of extremely low frequency in work areas adjacent to electric generators

ABSTRACT

Values of magnetic intensity (B) were identified around electric generators in extremely low frequency (60 Hz) of electromagnetic field (ELF-EMF). A symmetrical design bilateral allowed characterize the source and areas in maximum magnetic intensity (B) and a new design to measure was created. Several different measure methods were set accord to distribution of magnetic field (B) for each kind of source of ELF-EMF and work's place that has been exposed to ELF-EMF. It advice make systematic studies of B in this kind of industries.
