ABSTRACT

The clinical case of an infant with meningitis, characterized by convulsive crisis persistent and drowsiness, is presented. Because he did not respond to that antibacterial treatment it was studied for another etiological possibility. By this way it was found, by means of the study of the "Chinese tintion", that the Cryptococcus was cause of its illness.
