ABSTRACT

In recent decades, strategies in education solve the problems of pedagogical practice. They are alternatives to achieve the short, medium or long term objectives. Specifically, in the Latin American School of Medicine, a doctoral strategy is carried out with the objective of increasing the scientific quality of the cloister and, therefore, the number of doctors in science, of the institution. Likewise, the lack of systematicity in the scientific research activity of the professors, related to the doctoral training, the limited knowledge of the theory of Advanced Education for the theoretical support of the scientific investigations that are carried out linking the medical sciences with the pedagogical sciences, in addition to the low intellectual production, so the problem is: How to contribute to the scientific results of the institutional doctoral strategy? Therefore, actions related to the identification of the potential for the doctoral strategy were drawn up, the necessary resources for the development of the thesis, the application of the specific and individualized action plan with each of the professionals that integrate the potential and the In addition to the control, monitoring and evaluation of the strategy for the training of doctors in science of the institution. According to the actions, an important theoretical support was achieved from the systematization and application of the theory of Advanced Education in scientific research, ten theses were defended with satisfactory results and a large number of scientific articles were published.
