Use of forceps in a case of uterine rupture

ABSTRACT
Uterine rupture is a rare but sometimes fatal complication after a previous cesarean section. The use of forceps has been on the decline in recent years. In this report, the case of a uterine rupture and fetal extraction with forceps is described to reduce perinatal morbidity and mortality.
