ABSTRACT
Priapism is a prolonged, painful penile erection persisting in the absence of sexual activity or desire. Most cases are classified as low-flow or ischemic. It is considered a urological emergency when an erection lasts more than four to six hours. We present our experience using the Grayhack procedure, a cavernosal-saphenous shunt after conservative management and first-line surgical procedures fail to resolve a three-day painful penile erection in our patient. The priapism was resolved, and the patient described regular sexual activity and no complications.REFERENCES
