ABSTRACT

Introduction: photogrammetry allows the creation of three-dimensional models from digital photographs using mathematical relationships. Objective: to evaluate the usefulness of photogrammetry for locating anatomical landmarks in a patient with cleft lip. Clinical case: clinical photographs were processed using 3D software for full-scale anatomical reconstruction. Anatomical landmarks were identified on these photographs and located in the patient. Conclusions: the use of photogrammetry to locate anatomical landmarks in cleft lip is a reliable and accessible tool that improves the quality of surgical procedures.
