ABSTRACT

Late complications after frontal sinus fractures may arise decades post-trauma, with no consensus on optimal follow-up duration. We report four cases treated 7-25 years after initial surgery, including mucoceles, obliteration material infections, and frontal fistulas. All underwent coronal approach, cranialization, and bone repair, with no recurrences. We present a structured long-term clinical and radiological follow-up protocol enabling early detection and successful management of such sequelae. Our experience supports indefinite monitoring to optimize outcomes and preserve quality of life, a strategy applicable to other centers.
