Bioethics, early childhood pedagogy and pre-school teacher training

ABSTRACT
Purpose/Background. This article presents some intersections between bioethics,
early childhood pedagogy and preschool teacher education as an essential
element for the contribution of ethical and socially responsible citizens.
Methodology/Approach. Through a thematic synthesis, a conceptual
approach was made, where elements that integrated these fields were proposed.
Results/Findings. The importance of ethical and bioethical education from
early childhood is highlighted, as well as the fundamental role of the preschool
teacher in this process. By linking bioethics in the preschool teacher training
curricula.
Discussion/Conclusions/Contributions. The relationship between early childhood
pedagogy and Bioethics is significant, since the latter enriches educational,
pedagogical and formative practice, in addition to providing an essential
conceptual framework. This favors pedagogical strategies that promote the development
of an ethical conscience in children.
